Worship.

I’ve never quite experienced worshipping like the way Rock Church does it. Sure, they sing awesome songs and a most I recognize. But it seems a lot of songs are really repetitive. Maybe that’s just worship songs nowadays?  One song (the video above) I had never heard but they sing it a lot. And I would find myself singing it throughout the day or week and I got to thinking that there isn’t much to the song.

It repeats over and over and then I got to thinking that a lot of the worship songs they sing repeat over and over. I couldn’t help but think that is what worshipping in Heaven will be like. Just singing over and over, we won’t notice if we sing the same sentence, we’ll be worshipping in the presence of King Jesus.

Just a thought for today. Enjoy the song above and maybe it’ll become a favorite for you.

Psalms 150 Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!

  1. I wander what the music in heaven will be like, too. I believe we will sing many of the songs we sing down here that were spoken to the hearts of the writers by the Holy Spirit.
